Man who never served prison sentence on clerical error awaits fate
Tue Apr 15, 2014
This isn't right. Mr. Anderson has obviously turned his life around and has turned out to be a productive member of society. Isn't that one of the reasons we send people to prison? So they can reflect and learn from their mistakes and hopefully, when they are released, they become productive citizen …
Splitting the cost of the engagement ring: Would you do it?
Fri Sep 27, 2013
We kind of split the cost - We had been dating 9 years by the time we got engaged and our finances were already merged together. We had looked at rings together and while he technically BOUGHT the ring, we both paid for it - the money came out of our joint savings account.
A year off to no time at all: Your tales of maternity leave
Fri Sep 27, 2013
Wow I can't beleive how many companies don't offer paid leave! My company offers 6 weeks (2/3 pay) for vaginal delivery and 8 weeks for c-section, plus 6 additional weeks FMLA

Mom of teen denied heart transplant: 'He deserves a second chance'
Tue Aug 13, 2013
Yes, teens are noncompliant, but that is why they are minors and they have PARENTS who are supposed to take responsibility for them. I would side with the doctors here. Teens turn lens on 'shocking' poverty
Fri Apr 12, 2013
I am so sick of people saying that CEOs are so overpaid and poor everyone else because they don't make as much money. These CEO's most likely went to several years of schooling, worked extremely hard to make it to the top and have HUGE responsibilities. They are in charge of multimillion dollar comp …
Coupon clipping declines as shoppers get savvier
Tue Mar 26, 2013
I use coupons occasionally for beauty aids, cleaners, laundry detergent, etc. But I'm not going to buy 3 large jars of mayo to save 60 cents. The food coupons are all for processed foods I don't eat anyways. I do love store coupons, like Target gives away sometimes - save $10 when you spend $100. I …
You're not the boss of me, Mom, but I'm staying on your phone plan
Wed Mar 20, 2013
It would be stupid NOT to share a plan with someone if you can, regardless of if it is your parents, boyfriend, siblings or roommates. If a cellphone carrier allows you to save money by putting 6 people on one plan, why would you not?
